Arofan House is our new student accommodation in Cardiff. It’s stylish, safe, and surrounded by all the amenities you need for a fun and easy time at uni. Getting to your lectures and seminars will be a doddle, because we’re just a 10-minute stroll or so from Cardiff University and the University of Wales, and a short bus ride from Cardiff Metropolitan University! The busy Queen Street and St David’s Centre are just a stone’s throw away, which means you couldn’t be better situated for shops, restaurants and bars. You’ve also got the famous castle and the Millenium Stadium close by, and green parks like Sophia Gardens and Cooper’s Field. Essentially, you’ll be right in the middle of it all.

Choose Your Room
You’ll get a brand spanking new room that’s fully furnished, and you’ll get to choose what type too!
You can have an ensuite room in a shared apartment with other students, or you can have a studio that’s yours and yours only – it’s up to you. It’s worth noting that two of our studio options have a dual occupancy option.
Here’s What Your Rent Covers
- Your water, electricity and gas bills
- Your high-speed broadband and Wi-Fi
- As much heating as you want
- Contents insurance
- 24-hour security
- Maintenance service (if anything breaks we’ll fix it quickly!)
- Access to the on-site laundry room
- A TV (shared if you’re in an apartment)
- Post and parcel service
So basically, everything’s ready for you. You’ll settle in before you know it. All you need to do is go out and get your food – and there are a few supermarkets close by, so that’s that sorted.

Student Life at Arofan House
We haven't even mentioned the best bit about Arofan House yet! The team! Becky, Catrin & Katie are there to help you settle into life in Cardiff. We put on regular events for our students like spotiy parties, games nights, quiz nights and movie nights! From free tea and coffee to keep you warm on the way to uni, to an on-site maintenence team to make sure everythings as it should be in your room. We've got you covered. Life at Arofan House couldn't be easier!
